Terms of Use
Effective date: October 6, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Mayan Labs LLC, doing business as RunVector ("RunVector," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern access to and use of RunVector's websites, applications, tools, integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the Services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. Parental or guardian permission does not make anyone under 16 eligible. If you are 16 or older but are not old enough to form a binding contract where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you use the Services.
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and current information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly notify RunVector if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, or shared to bypass access controls.
3. The RunVector Services
RunVector provides running and endurance-training tools, including training plans, workout and calendar features, training analytics, race information and predictions, connected-device features, and automated coaching or insight tools. Some features may also be available through approved assistants, plugins, or other interfaces. RunVector supports athletes training independently and coaches working with athletes who authorize them, where the relevant features are available.
Access to the Services or particular features may require payment. Before you purchase, we will disclose the applicable price, billing interval, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms. Any paid access requires your agreement to the applicable purchase terms, in addition to these Terms and any rights provided by applicable law.
4. Health and Training Disclaimer
RunVector is not a medical provider.
The Services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Training plans, workouts, recovery guidance, and other content are for general fitness and informational purposes only.
Running and physical training involve risk of injury, illness, and other serious health events. Consult a qualified health professional before beginning or changing a training program, especially if you are injured, pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication that affects exercise, or have concerns about your ability to train safely. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you experience warning symptoms or a medical emergency. You remain responsible for deciding whether any activity, pace, distance, or workout is safe and appropriate for you.
5. Predictions and Automated Features
Race predictions, training recommendations, readiness signals, automated coaching, and AI-generated insights are estimates based on the information available to the Services. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for your individual circumstances. They do not guarantee a race time, qualification, performance improvement, injury-free training, or any other result.
Course, elevation, weather, and race-condition inputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or change unexpectedly. Check official event information and make decisions based on the conditions you actually encounter.
Automated outputs should not be treated as professional medical advice or as a substitute for your own judgment, professional advice, official race information, or real-world conditions. You should adjust, ignore, or stop following a recommendation when it conflicts with those sources, your health, event rules, or what your body is telling you. You remain responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to follow automated actions or changes to your training plan, including workouts created or scheduled through an assistant.
You remain responsible for deciding whether to follow workouts or training plans you create, import, or request through third-party tools or assistants. Storing or scheduling that content in RunVector does not mean RunVector has reviewed, validated, or endorsed it.
6. Connected and Third-Party Services
You may choose to connect RunVector with third-party services or devices, such as Garmin Connect or COROS, where supported, or to use RunVector through a connected third-party assistant or plugin. Your use of a third party remains subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices. RunVector does not control a third party's availability, accuracy, security, or independent use of information.
You authorize RunVector to exchange the information and instructions needed to provide the connected feature you request. You are responsible for reviewing permissions and for disconnecting a service when you no longer want it connected. Third-party changes, outages, or restrictions may limit or disable a RunVector feature without notice.
7. Privacy and Your Data
RunVector's Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
You retain your rights in information and content you provide. You grant RunVector a limited license to host, process, reproduce, analyze, and transmit that information as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, your choices and consents, applicable connected-service terms and data-source restrictions, and applicable law.
Public training-plan links are unlisted bearer links, meaning anyone who has the URL can view and share the plan until the link expires. They are not intended for search-engine indexing, but you should not treat them as private. Do not create or share a public link containing information you do not want accessible to others.
8. Electronic Communications and Email Choices
By creating an account or asking us to deliver a feature, you agree that RunVector may send electronic communications needed to provide and protect the Services. These essential communications may include account verification, password and security messages, a training-plan link you requested, support replies, and material service or policy notices.
RunVector may also send optional product updates and training-plan communications where permitted by applicable law. You can manage optional communications through the choices provided in the Services, including Settings, or by using an unsubscribe link when available. We will honor applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
Opting out of optional product or training-plan email does not stop essential account, security, transactional, or legal notices. You may stop those essential messages only where the law allows or by closing your account and no longer using the associated Services.
9. Athletes and Coaches
RunVector's platform and automated tools are separate from advice and decisions made by a coach. Coaches remain responsible for the appropriateness of their training recommendations, including when they use AI assistance. Coach access alone does not establish employment or endorsement by RunVector.
A coach has no access to an athlete's information solely by having a coach role. Access requires a specific relationship authorized by that athlete. Permission to view information does not by itself authorize changes to plans or workouts. Where features are available and the athlete has authorized them, a coach may review relevant profile, training, activity, wellness, or race information; create or modify workouts or training plans; and communicate with the athlete. Coaches must use their own accounts and must not use an athlete's credentials.
Coaches may use athlete information only for the authorized coaching purpose and must protect its confidentiality and security. They may not disclose it without authorization or reuse it for marketing or unrelated purposes. An authorization to access information does not transfer ownership of that information.
An athlete may withdraw permission. Once permission is withdrawn, the coach must stop accessing, managing, disclosing, or otherwise using the athlete's information unless the athlete separately authorizes it. A coach may retain limited records where permitted or required by law, but this does not restore access or authorize unrelated use. Confidentiality obligations continue. Withdrawal does not automatically delete prior plans, messages, or copies held by a coach; RunVector's retention of its records is governed by the Privacy Policy.
A coach's use of a browser assistant in the coach's own authorized account is separate from a RunVector-provided connection to an external service. External AI or assistant tools may receive information they can access or that a coach provides. Before using such a tool with athlete information, the coach must have authorization that covers that external processing and respect the athlete's choices. Coaches may not use assistants to bypass safeguards or expand their authorized access.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services to:
- break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate harm;
- access another person's account, private data, or connected service without authorization;
- misrepresent activity data, identity, authorization, or account ownership;
- bypass authentication, rate limits, safety checks, or other safeguards;
- introduce malware, disrupt the Services, or burden infrastructure unfairly;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or systematically extract the Services except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use the Services or their output to send spam or unsolicited communications.
11. Ownership and Limited License
RunVector and its licensors own the Services, including their software, design, branding, documentation, and original content, except for material owned by users or third parties. Subject to these Terms, RunVector grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the Services for their intended purpose, including your own training and coaching you are authorized to provide through your own account.
If you send feedback or suggestions, you allow RunVector to use them without an obligation to compensate you, but you do not transfer ownership of your private training data merely by providing feedback or using the Services.
12. Beta Service, Changes, and Availability
RunVector is in beta. Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed, and the Services may be unavailable because of maintenance, security events, third-party dependencies, or technical problems. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes that negatively affect users.
13. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your account through Settings. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to personal information after a deletion request.
RunVector may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, or respond to a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." RunVector does not warrant that predictions, plans, recommendations, course or weather data, third-party data, or other content will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RunVector will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, opportunity, revenue, or profits arising from the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RunVector's total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms, including claims for direct damages, will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the total fees you paid RunVector for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or reduces non-waivable consumer rights available where you live.
15. Changes to These Terms
RunVector may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. We will update the date shown on this page and provide any notice required by applicable law. Material changes will apply prospectively from the stated effective date. If you do not agree to an update, you should stop using the Services before it takes effect.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to applicable law, you and Mayan Labs LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim in another forum where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to do so.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the affected provision will be modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of all or substantially all of our assets, or by operation of law, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms presented for a particular feature constitute the entire agreement between you and Mayan Labs LLC concerning the Services, except where a separate written agreement expressly applies.
